KOHIKI is our best-selling 1st harvest Latte Grade Uji Matcha since 2015, developed to take your Matcha drinks and desserts to the next level.

This premium first harvest blend of Okumidori & Yabukita showcases a vivid green and a remarkably clean, smooth profile that pairs perfectly with milk and into fresh creams for high-end desserts. Great also as a delicious Cold Brew Matcha for a simple and refreshing summer drink.

Flavour profile: Rich and balanced body with sweet nutty undertones, very minimal astringency and clean umami.

We recommend this grade for:

Matcha Latte:

1. Sift 4g of Matcha into a bowl
2. Wet with 40ml of 80°C water and knead into a paste using a Bamboo Whisk
3. Add sweetness if preferred. We recommend Maple syrup to give the drink more body and depth of flavour, with a 2:1 ratio of sweetener to powder.
4. Warm up 150-200ml of your favourite milk and pour into the paste
   
5. Enjoy your Matcha Latte.

Iced Matcha Latte:

1. Sift 5g of Matcha into a spouted bowl
2. Wet with 50ml of warm water and knead into a paste using a Bamboo Whisk
   
3. Add sweetness if preferred. We recommend Maple syrup to give the drink more body and depth of flavour, with a 2:1 ratio of sweetener to powder.
4. Add ice cubes to a glass and 200ml of your favourite milk (cold)
5. Slowly pour Matcha paste into the glass and enjoy your Iced Matcha Latte.
