We are proud to introduce this quite rare and delicious tea ingredient made by blending premium-quality culinary Matcha and roasted brown rice.
While the more traditional whole-leaf Gernmaicha is ideal to be brewed into a hot or cold tea, this powdered version mixes perfectly with any milk into a delicious latte and it's easy to incorporate into cakes and fillings for green tea desserts with an extra twist of flavour given by the roasted rice.
Not recommended to be brewed as a tea for its strong and astringent flavour.
Flavour profile: Robust and full-bodied with a fresh green tea fragrance complemented by the nutty and cereal notes of roasted rice. Moderately bitter.
