Hanae is our entry-level Ceremonial grade Matcha, grown and processed in Uji Kyoto. We suggest this blend to those new to the art of Matcha or those who enjoy several brews per day, given its lower entry price.
Flavour profile: Sharp, rich and earthy with subtle floral notes, moderate astringency and light Umami.
Colour: Emerald Green
Harvest: Produced using young and tender leaves from the first spring harvest. Tea trees have been shade grown for at least 20 days to maintain high levels of L-Theanine.
Use: This great entry-level Ceremonial grade is ideal to be enjoyed in Usu-Cha style (thin Matcha) or as a delicious Coldbrew Iced Matcha.
Origin: Uji, Kyoto (Japan)
We recommend to prepare this Matcha using our Handcrafted Bamboo Whisk for better aeration of the tea resulting in a creamy texture.
