In June 2025 we came across this very interesting small lot of first-harvest Matcha from our Yame producer. After being advised that it will likely be available only for a short period given the limited tea material available, we decided to introduce it as a "Seasonal Matcha" blend for our customers —destined to run out at some point this year.
This Matcha is intense and immediately coats the palate with its depth of flavour and Umami. A lot of complexity compressed into it: it's floral, nutty, with subtle roasted notes and a savoury finish.
Ideal blended with milk into a premium latte (not recommended as Usucha) and available for a limited time only.
Flavour profile: Complex and well structured. Floral, slightly roasted, nutty and with a deep Umami finish.
Origin: Yame (Japan) / 1st Harvest 2025
Shelf life: 12 months
Storage: Seal pouch immediately after use and store in a cool dry place, away from moisture and strong odors.
Please consider our retail collections for a wider range of grades and small-sized packaging:
If you're purchasing this bag for your home or for business use, we recommend opting for one of our Biophotonic Glass Jars for optimal storage and practical everyday use. Transferring small amounts of powder into a jar minimizes its exposure to oxygen and increases the shelf life of the tea.

Matcha
The matcha is perfect such good quality!

Worths the penny
Worths the penny, I mix my matcha with maple syrup and soy milk, a perfect caffein replacement for my coffee routine

Quality Matcha with excellent value
Moving from Hanae to Hannari, I didn’t know what to expect however I was blown away by the taste. I’m a latte drinker and felt Kohiki had too much astringency for my palette but Hannari perfectly bridges the gap between the Culinary and Ceremonial Grade with fantastic value. I would definitely get Hannari again! Delicious flavour profile with minimal bitterness.

Not bitter but not complex
Good quality matcha that is not bitter, but there's nothing interesting in the flavour profile. I've used for matcha latte. The powder was ground properly, not clumpy. Personally, I would prefer something more complex or interesting and hence, for the price, I'd rather get the Taishiro which does have a bit of bitterness but better price.

Best matcha latte
I love it and highly recommend everyone give it a try.
