HANAE is produced using young and tender hand-picked leaves from the first spring harvest of tea trees that have been shade grown for at least 20 days
HANAE brews a great daily Ceremonial grade Matcha that can be sipped hot or cold, at any time of the day, to cuddle your taste buds and find calmness, while energising thanks to its mild and slow release caffeine content as well as a heavy load of Antioxidants.
HANAE presents itself in a bright emerald green colour with a sharp, rich earthy flavour with subtle floral notes and moderate astringency. This grade is ideal to be enjoyed in Usu-Cha style (thin Matcha) but it also makes delicious Coldbrew Iced Matcha.
We recommend to prepare this Matcha using our Handcrafted Bamboo Whisk for better aeration of the tea resulting in a creamy texture.
