** Packaging designed exclusively as a refill for our 30g Biophotonic Glass jar and 30g Aluminium Tin. Once opened, transfer the Matcha into the jar and keep airtight at all times. As this refill bag does not seal once opened, we don't recommend it to first-time customers.

HARUNA is our signature Organic Ceremonial grade Matcha, certified by JAS (Japanese Agricultural Standards of Organic Products) and grown without the use of pesticides or conventional fertilizers.

This unique Matcha is produced with single-cultivar Seamidori tea leaves, stone-ground into a vibrant emerald green powder that brews a bold, rich liquor bursting with floral and roasted notes, earthy flavours and lingering Umami - all in a gentle velvety texture.

Flavour profile: Full-body and earthy Matcha, with light floral and roasted notes, moderate bitterness and lingering Umami.

Harvest & Growth: 1st flush (spring) / shade-grown for 24 days.

Origin: Grown and hand-picked in Kagoshima, located within the Kyushu Island, South of Japan.

Storage: Gently cut open bag and empty into our Biophotonic Glass jar or Aluminium Tin. Seal jar immediately after use and store in a cool dry place, away from moisture and strong odors.

We recommend preparing this Matcha using our Chasen Bamboo Whisk for optimal aeration of the tea and creamy texture.

We recommend this Ceremonial grade for:

Usu-Cha (traditional hot Matcha tea):

    1. Sift 2g of Matcha into a bowl
    2. Wet with 20ml of 80°C water and knead into a paste using a Bamboo Whisk
    3. Add more water (50ml) and briskly whisk back and forth until a fine layer of froth forms on the top.
    4. Drink immediately.

    Coldbrew Iced Matcha

      1. Sift 2g of Matcha into a shaker filled with 250ml of water
      2. Add sweetness (optional) and shake well.
      3. Place a few ice cubes into a glass and pour your Matcha over ice.
      4. Enjoy your Coldbrew Iced Matcha

      Premium Matcha Latte:

        1. Sift 2-3g of Matcha into your mug (add sweetness if preferred)
        2. Add 20ml of 80°C water and knead with your Bamboo Whisk until smooth
        3. Steam your desired amount of milk (150-200ml) and pour it into the paste.
