AustraliaLove my matcha tea set
Purchased my first matcha tea set recently and have no regrets. Parcel arrived within days, beautifully packages and intact. Matcha bowl has a sturdy base and is easy to hold in one hand whilst whisking. The bowl does not slip in my hand thanks to the slight dips on the lip of the bowl which are makes it easy to hold, and also the very external base is unglazed so the bowl will not slip easily. The base of the bowl is deep and allows easy whisking. With its thick walls, this bowl retains heat and feels warm in the hands. Although 500ml seems large it is only to be filled 1/3. The matcha green contrasts well with the white porcelain (although I think a the green colour would likely stand out more with a black porcelain. I chose white as this matches all my other tableware) The dips in the rim make it easy to hold think this is a perfect beginner matcha bowl for someone who appreciates a minimalist design and beautiful pottery. Highly recommend
