A piece with an elegant design and unique colour variations created during firing. The changes of colour During firing are known as “yohen“ in Japanese, which literally translates as "changed by the fire/flame".
The floral pattern that decorates the lid has been hand-carved by the potter.
Fully handmade using natural unglazed black clay, which will slightly enrich the taste of the tea with its minerals minimizing bitter notes.
