KOHIKI is the latest addition to our Culinary Matcha range, developed to take your Matcha Latte and desserts to the next level.
Produced with tea leaves that have been picked during the first harvest of the season, this premium culinary blend showcases a bright cue of green and a remarkable fresh fragrance that makes it particularly suitable for Matcha Latte, Cold Brew Matcha and premium fresh desserts.
Flavour profile: Robust and full-bodied with sweet undertones, strong Matcha fragrance and light astringency.
Origin: Uji, Kyoto (Japan)
Storage: Seal jar immediately after use and store in a cool dry place, away from moisture and strong odours.
Packaging: Biophotonic glass, also known as Miron or Violet glass, is a type of deeply coloured, almost opaque glass that naturally filters the spectrum of visible sunlight, only allowing through Infra-Red and UVA light, or ‘violet’ light. Because of its natural ability to block light, Biophotonic glass protects precious contents from perishing in sunlight, increasing their shelf life and effectiveness.

Amazing Matcha - One of the BEST
The quality and taste of the matcha powder from Zen Wonders is very high quality and authentic. I’ve been been searching for a culinary grade one for matcha lattes and this has been the best company I’ve received it from. I got the Kohiki and it’s Devine. The chasen quality is excellent with the number of prongs and easily breaks up the matcha. Ordering more!

Amazing Matcha
Thank you Zen Wonders.. I am really enjoying the Kohiki & the Taishiro Matcha. I have been having them with a dash of Almond Milk & they are both really nice I can highly recommend both varieties.

So good - can't go back!
I recently bought this as I ran out of my usual matcha. It's a vibrant green colour and has a slightly bitter taste to it which I like. It's delicious both hot or iced and it's not at all grainy. Definitely buy this matcha if you're looking for a alternative that is authentic and not too overly pricey.

Kohiki Culinary Matcha
KOHIKI is a perfect matcha for starters who would like to have a taste of what a culinary grade matcha tastes like. It’s perfect for matcha lattes, making desserts, and I find that it froths really nicely which I love! P.S. I prefer mixing it with sweetener like milk or using it for making desserts because culinary grade matchas tend to be on the bitter side than the other grades. Unless you like your matcha like that

New Favourite
I used to use low-grade matcha you buy from the supermarkets, so trying this matcha is a game-changer. It's high-quality, tasty, and comes in beautiful reusable packaging. Definitely repurchasing again.
